The present staff of the NINDS TTO combines education and experience in the multiple areas of science, technology transfer, marketing, law, public policy and patent examination which collectively gives NINDS researchers a staff well qualified to effectively facilitate transfer of research materials, collaboration with the commercial sector and commercialization of qualified technologies.
The NINDS TTO utilizes the services of the National Cancer Institute’s (NCI) Technology Transfer Center (NCI/TTC) for technology transfer and development activities. NCI/TTC provides NINDS TTO with personnel with the diverse background needed to provide NINDS the high standard of services expected. The NINDS TDC is responsible for working with the NCI/TTC personnel to assure the NINDS technology transfer program is of the highest caliber.
